However, there's not many people playin it online so I want to play the expansion [Thrones and Patriots] instead. In this expansion I can't get multiplayer to work however; when I host a game no-one is able to join and when I try to join a game I get one of two errors: 1) connection failed for unknown reasons or 2) your game version(03.)does not match the sessions version(07.5) I've got the gold edition and when I installed it I never had to download any patch whatsoever.

When I try the in-game updater it says I've got the most recent version installed. I can't find any update to version 07.5 either.

Since I can now consistantly beat the computer on the hardest setting in regular RoN and with the lack of multiplayer games there, I really wish to play the expansion and I have no clue why I cannot join and/or host games in the expansion pack. I even use the same host and client port in both games!
