It depend on your level of musicianship. If your a true pianist or even close, I would not recommend it. But if your like me and many others who kind of peck their way around until you get something that sound good this might suit your needs. Me, I couldn't care less about 88 full size weighted keys, spring action, programmable pedals, etc. I don't play that well any way but some of the guys here can't live without that kind of stuff.
Those guy wouldn't touch a Oxygen or Radium board either. A few of my friends have the older model and it works great for their needs and is a good space saver. My only gripe is that it does not have a mod wheel but they don't seem to miss it much.

I don't have that particular model linked to by the OP, but I do have a Prodikeys DM. The QWERTY keys are too stiff, the midi keys are too small, there is no mod wheel, and the pitch and volume wheels are tiny. As pointed out by someone else, the sustain is a button.
If you just need a quick, handy, limited midi input device, then I'd say prodikeys is probably on the low end of choices. A better choice would be a small dedicated midi controller that you can stash next to the QWERTY. I don't think I'd ever buy another Prodikeys. And yet, I have a strange fondness for it. As a sole dedicated MIDI controller, yeah, you're better off looking elsewhere.
But as a secondary controller that is useful for auditioning sounds or adding small parts that require no special finesse it's actually kind of useful. And it sends it's data over a PS/2 port which means it doesn't use yet another USB port, which is what got me interested (I also got it cheap). Sometimes when I'm editing I don't want to turn on my Alesis if I'm only doing minimal MIDI input. However, keep in mind we are talking about Creative, and we all know how their drivers are.
To get the Prodikeys driver on you have to install the whole stupid software package which I haven't even looked at but can't imagine is any good. They recently released a new driver that allows for transposition of the keyboard via the buttons on the top. Great, the problem is that now the keyboard is constantly sending a stream of wobbly, minor pitchbend information to Sonar regardless of what MIDI channel is selected on the track. I've just turned it off in Sonar for now because I can't really be bothered to figure out how to filter it. At some point I'll either figure out how to filter it, or roll-back the driver, but at present I just have a rather ungainly QWERTY keyboard.
